Mount Erie is a 388 meter tall peak on Fidalgo Island in Anacortes, Washington that affords an amazing view of the Salish Sea below and those jewels which adorn it – the San Juan Islands. The area is apparently the result of subduction and glaciation has dragged some of its parts as far away as Seattle. Whether you drive or hike, the view from the top is sure to be worth your effort.
