IT Manager | People Manager | Program Manager | Change Practitioner
I’m seeking full-time employment in the Columbus, OH area or fully remote for an Information Technology Manager/ Support Engineering Manager/ Technical Program Manager position. I am open to W2 contracts or full-time types of roles.
Microsoft Experience:
- I was the owner of the Windows Self Host Program as a Technical Program Manager within Microsoft. During this time, I oversaw, cross-collaborated with multiple partner teams, and product development lifecycle for Windows 10, 11, and Server releases. To include automation of processes with increasing participation in the program up to 20K systems for latest cumulative updates.
- Another role that I served is a Support Engineering Manager Role managing a support engineering team for Customer Service and Success organization. Managing the Azure Integration team, conducted projects to improve customer feedback diagnosis via Log Analytics and Azure Logic Apps data analytics.
- While there, I also had a role of Support Escalation Engineer (SEE) for the Azure Monitor team and Windows Devices & Deployment team. As a SEE, I became a Subject Matter Expert in Azure Log Analytics and Azure Function Apps to become a Technical Advisor to those current and up and coming engineers. This included hiring and screening of candidates for roles for my business area.
U.S. Air Force Experience:
- I served in several roles within my time in the Air Force for 21 years. The two that I feel that I had the most accomplishments in were Cyber Transport Systems Supervisor (AFSC 3D1X2) and Cyber Systems Operations Supervisor (AFSC 3D0X2). With Cyber Transport, I was responsible for designing, installation, and configuring of infrastructure equipment for the McEntire, JNGB facility. This includes several multi-million dollar projects while supporting the 24 x 7 operations of the F-16 Fighter Jet mission as well as customer service related requests from users on the domain.
- As a Cyber System Operations supervisor, I was responsible for designing, maintaining, and installing VMWare VCenter systems to support multiple servers with Windows and Linux operating systems. To include Active Directory and system management for all 1470 systems on the facility.
- I created many System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) update deployment packages, operating system installations, and created a standard desktop configuration for all systems that were purchased and distributed for employees. I created PowerShell scripts and Visual Basic scripts that were created for patch management, and deployment of important configuration changes for 100% uptime of all systems 365 days a year.
