For the week ending October 20, 2023, we share stories of long-lost X-wing fighters, the moral component in selling user data, Ed Sheeran appearing in iHeartLand’s State Farm Park in Fortnite and more. We also welcome new members as always.
We also featuring an image taken this week of a rainbow (actually, a double rainbow!) that broke through the clouds in the morning to illuminate the ground below. It’s reminiscent of the old vaudeville tune, I’m Always Chasing Rainbows, which has been heavily covered, which states, “I’m always chasing rainbows, waiting to find a little bluebird in vain,” and in fact, in one of the first shots, a Steller’s Jay is diving downward and photobombs the shot. Additionally, there’s the initial photo of a partial rainbow before it broke completely through the clouds where it illuminated the mountainside below and the second rainbow is evident.
